Product description
Orthodox icon of Saint Antipas Bishop of Pergamon on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
The Holy Martyr Antipas lived during the time of Emperor Domitian (81-96 AD). He was ordained Bishop of the Church of Pergamum. After he was tortured by idolaters, he died in 92 AD. He is considered a patron of dentists. Saint Antipas of Pergamum celebrates on April 11th.
