Domaine La Cuverie 2.6.15 Pet Nat Rosé

Domaine La Cuverie 2.6.15 Pet Nat Rosé is a lively sparkling wine from the Bugey-Cerdon area of eastern France, in the Ain département, just west of Savoie and south of the Jura.

Made from a blend of Gamay and Poulsard grapes, the wine shows a light colour and a bright fruit character with exuberant notes of strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate with a playful, slightly off-dry sweetness balanced by crisp acidity and gentle bubbles.

The wine is crafted in the pétillant naturel (ancestral) style, meaning it is bottled before primary fermentation finishes, allowing natural effervescence to develop in the bottle.

Its name 2.6.15 refers to two years, six months and fifteen days - the length of time between the winery’s founding and the wine's creation!" 

This wine would go excellently with spicy Asian dishes, fresh fruit desserts, charcuterie, creamy cheeses or as a fun and light aperitif.
